Esteem Designz Program carefully addresses and meets the needs of girls, their current issues and pressures, and the needs of associations that work with girls.

 
I have worked in the community sector in the Sutherland Shire for over 15 years and I am aware of the debilitating effects of low self-esteem and the issues girls are facing everyday.
 
The Esteem Designz Program supports young women in building self esteem and self worth. The Esteem Designz Program addresses these fundamental needs, helping young women find value, respect and confidence in who they are by developing critical skills and create coping mechanisms and tools to use throughout life.
 
The creative projects enable the girls to have fun, feel safe, discuss and reflect on challenging topics, be completely involved and create lasting and memorable lessons and skills.
 
The girls are educated in how to feel valued by the kits they receive that contain gifts, tools and strategies. The program is undertaken by facilitators who are provided with all necessary materials. As a result participants are given the opportunity to feel special and own the lessons for themselves.
 
The facilitator manual is an easy to implement and adaptable document, designed to meet specific group needs.
 
Esteem Designz Program aims to and achieves the goal of giving young women positive self-awareness and self- image. This further enables positive and proactive engagement with the wider community.
 
The Esteem Designz Program can have a positive impact on the lives of young women and their communities.
